There is a wonderful segment of "The Idiots Guide To Simple Living" that describes the quality circle theory, and this quote ( not from the book) really does support that.

Weird things at the Ripleys Museum
During last year's Manhattan Dancesport Championships, I made a visit to the Ripleys Museum with Lauren Garrett. Here are some of the unusual things we got to see:
