Well another holiday season has gone by and this one seemed fast paced from the beginning to end. We did make time to see White Christmas, as we do every year. No matter how many times I see White Christmas, it feels as wonderful as the first.
This year we updated our copy of the White Christmas DVD, which included a special feature on Rosemary Clooney's childhood home in Kentucky. The home is now a museum that pays tribute to Clooney, featuring several historical costumes and props that appeared in the original film. I hope to visit the museum someday, which displays both the dresses and fans used by Vera Ellen and Rosemary in the "Sisters" number.
