Ron Bennett

Recently I've seen a number of dancers collecting vintage images of Dance celebrities. A sought after item has been a late 1950's edition of the Washington Post. Inside there is an advertisement for Arthur Murray, depicting their fleet of dance instructors. If one looks carefully, this article includes a vintage photograph of
Ron Bennett.

There are not many detailed biographies on Ron Bennett that are available. It's fair to estimate that this photo was taken between 1958 and 1962. Recently Chris Thompson wrote an article on dance legends, featuring a bio for Ron. Information in Chris's article and vintage print ads from Arthur Murray both date Ron Bennett there during this time period.

A simlar photo of Ron appears in print ad that may be from the same time period. This photograph is undated, and is in the hands of a private collector.
